Why should I sign up for a Winner’s Edge account?

Your Winner’s Edge account is your exclusive ticket to all things OLG. Fully customizable to your unique preferences, you can opt-in to receive winning numbers and jackpot alerts, breaking lottery and sports news and updates, the latest lottery contests, exclusive coupons and more. Signing up only takes a couple minutes, and it’s easy to change your account preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

Emails

Once you complete the sign-up process, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address (the same email address you used when signing up). This email will contain a link to activate your account.

Log in to your Winner’s Edge account, scroll down to Email Preferences and click the “Update Email Preferences” button to review your account preferences. Under the Winner’s Edge Email heading, make your desired changes, click “Change Email Preferences” and your selections will be updated.

You can choose to receive Jackpot alert emails for just the big Jackpot amounts by selecting “High Jackpots only” when you sign up or when you edit your preferences. If you select this option, you will receive Jackpot alert emails only when the LOTTO MAX Jackpot amount is $20 million or more, or when the LOTTO 6/49 amount is $10 million or more.

If you select the option to receive newsletters, you will receive updates about lottery products, news and contests.

You can opt out of our email program at any time by either using the unsubscribe link contained in any OLG Winner’s Edge email sent to you or by logging in to your account and updating your email preferences.

If you wish to receive invitations for research or surveys, select that option under your email preferences. You’ll be helping us improve our products and services.

Email newsletters will provide lottery news, such as information about new lottery games, upcoming promotions, winners and exclusive offers and contests. Sports news will also be offered including information about coupons, PROLINE+ mobile offering, and upcoming seasons and games.

Your information will be kept, and your account maintained as an active account, as long as you are participating in one or more email services (for example participating in email subscriber-exclusive contests), contests, coupons or other services associated with your Winner’s Edge account. We will also continue to keep your information as long as you are still reading our email messages and if we do not receive frequent bounce-backs from your email address.

If you are not subscribed to or participating in a service, and your email account has not been active for a period of two years from the date of last activity or original registration, whichever comes later, we will remove your records from our mailing list and we will no longer email to that email account, unless you re-subscribe to our email services.

Signing Up and Logging In

No. If you signed up for an OLG 2nd Chance Contest through Winner’s Edge, then you already have an OLG Winner’s Edge account. You can Log in to set your preferences at any time. Your Winner’s Edge account will continue to provide you access to all future OLG Winner’s Edge contests.

If you receive this message, and you have not already signed up for an OLG Winner’s Edge account, it is possible that someone else has signed up using the same email address. An email address cannot be used by more than one person. If you believe this message is incorrect or require additional assistance, contact the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098.

You may have entered your email address or password incorrectly. Check that you haven’t made any typos and that Caps Lock is off. Also make sure you haven’t entered any spaces. If you continue to have an issue, go to the Forgot Login page.

If you’ve already signed up for an OLG Winner’s Edge account, and have forgotten your password, go to the Forgot Login page.

If you have forgotten or no longer have access to the email address that you signed up with, contact the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098 for assistance.

Your Winner's Edge Account

To change your email address, you must log in to your Winner’s Edge account and update your profile.

To change your phone number, address or other information you signed up with, you must log in to your Winner’s Edge account and update your profile.

OLG has firm policies and procedures to protect against minors participating in any lottery or sports game or contest or engaging with our websites. Members must provide their date of birth in order to confirm that they are at least 18 years of age.

Protecting the privacy and confidentiality of personal information is important to us. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information by the OLG are governed by The Province of Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. No. If you have registered for an OLG.ca account you will also need a Winner’s Edge account to receive information and updates, along with Jackpot alerts and winning numbers details.

The PROLINE Points Program is a sports program intended to provide a great experience for retail sports customers and enhance the feeling of winning. Points are earned when eligible PROLINE tickets purchased in-store are entered into the program website. The amount of points earned may depend on the amount wagered, the type of wager made, and other criteria selected at OLG’s discretion.

Winner’s Edge account holders will not need to opt in for the PROLINE Points Program, but will be prompted to agree to rules and regulations the first time that they sign in.

Coupons

Our coupons are open to anyone who is a resident of Ontario over the age of 18 with a valid email address. Coupons are eligible to players with a Winner’s Edge account. To access your coupon, sign up for a Winner’s Edge account or, if you have an account, log in now. If you aren’t a Winner’s Edge member, register using your first name, last name, address, phone number and personal email address for account verification; your coupon will be available once you complete registration.

Coupons may be subject to additional terms and conditions set forth by OLG. Redemption restrictions will vary depending on the promotion. Customers can review these terms and conditions prior to redemption.

The coupon offer can be redeemed by anyone age 18 years or older. Government-issued photo identification may be required.

There is not one specific person who must use the coupon, but it has unique barcodes and can only be redeemed once. If you share your coupon with a family member or friend after you have already redeemed, they will not be able to redeem the coupon again.

Coupons can be redeemed at any OLG Lottery Retailer.

No, the coupon has no cash surrender value.

If a retailer has refused to accept and scan your coupon, please call the OLG at 1-800-387-0098 and provide the details (date, time, store name, address and city).

Please refer to the expiry date on your coupon. Valid only while quantities last.

If your coupon has already been redeemed, is on Hold, or is expired, a retailer cannot process it. If you still have concerns, please call the OLG at 1-800-387-0098 and provide the details (date, time, store name, address, city and coupon number).

Yes, you need internet access to receive your coupon.

Yes, if you can view the coupon code on your mobile device, our lottery scanner will be able to scan the coupon.

No. You will need to display the coupon on your mobile device with the barcodes fully visible in the screen area. You can then scan the coupon's CUSTOMER CODE using the Customer facing barcode reader. If that doesn’t work, we suggest you print your coupon and have your retailer scan the RETAILER CODE in their optical reader.

Ensure the entire barcode is visible on your mobile device. In order for the retailer to scan your coupon, the screen must be bright enough to read the barcode. If your display is not bright enough, try increasing the brightness on your screen. For further assistance, please contact OLG at 1-800-387-0098.

As a retailer, you can redeem your coupon but not at your own location. You must go to a location other than your place of work to redeem it.
