OLG Lottery Winner's Edge Email Program

OFFICIAL PROGRAM TERMS

Winner's Edge accounts are open to those who are:
1. Residents of Ontario only; and
2. Eighteen (18) years of age or older (including PROLINE in-store)
3. Nineteen (19) years of age or older when playing PROLINE+ online
To sign up for a Winner’s Edge account ("Account") (or to update your contact information), visit winnersedge.olg.ca. The Winner’s Edge account is free and no purchase is necessary to participate in associated Programs and Activities (both as defined below).
Holding a Winner’s Edge account provides you access to various OLG programs (“Programs”) including Winner’s Edge, PROLINE Points Program and any future OLG programs. These include access to exclusive emails, contests and coupons.
To become and remain a registered user, you must have internet access and a valid email account. OLG is not responsible for a user’s inability to: connect to the internet, log in to the Winner’s Edge account website, gain access to their Winner’s Edge account or participate in any activity associated with the Account.
Once you complete your Winner’s Edge account registration and become a Winner’s Edge user, you will be eligible to receive emails from OLG, including newsletters, promotional updates, any event invitations, jackpot alerts, winning numbers alerts, or other emails you sign up for. To keep your subscription current and valid, make sure to update your account every time your name, address, or phone number change(s). This can be done by accessing your account from the "Profile" link at the bottom of emails sent from OLG or by accessing the Profile link at winnersedge.olg.ca, when logged in to your Winner’s Edge account. Email services are optional. You can unsubscribe from these services at any time by visiting the Winner’s Edge account website at winnersedge.olg.ca or the PROLINE Points Program website at https://prolinepoints.olg.ca. Customers should be 18 years of age or older to play PROLINE in-store and 19 years of age or older if playing PROLINE+ online. Unsubscribe links are also provided at the end of each email you receive from us.
OLG may, from time to time, offer promotions, contests, giveaways, or other activities (collectively, "Activities") to Winner’s Edge account holders or advertise such Activities in the emails. Any such Activities will be governed by separate sets of promotion, contest, giveaway, or program terms, which may include additional restrictions or eligibility criteria.
Winner’s Edge accounts are expressly limited to one (1) account per person. All duplicate accounts or suspected duplicate accounts are subject to cancellation without notification by OLG at its sole discretion. Email addresses may not be shared between subscribers and each account must have a unique, valid email address. Accounts are not transferable.
Winner’s Edge accounts which have an excessive number of rejected emails, as determined by OLG in its sole discretion, may be automatically disabled, preventing the subscriber from accessing Programs associated with Winner’s Edge until they contact OLG and provide their alternative email address. Repeated problems with email delivery to a subscriber may result in suspension or cancellation of the subscriber's account.
Subscribers may not use any other Winner’s Edge account, including participating in promotions made available via the Program websites or communicated in the Program emails using other subscribers’ accounts.
The authorized account holder or subscriber is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
Subscribers must provide accurate information to the OLG Winner’s Edge account at all times. If any information provided by the subscriber is found to be false or inaccurate, the Account may be subject to cancellation without notice by OLG at its sole discretion.
OLG reserves the right to use subscriber feedback in any way it deems necessary or useful for better administration of the Programs.
While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information in Program emails, no warranty of accuracy or completeness is expressed or implied. To validate lottery results, visit a lottery retailer near you.
At subscription, we ask for personal information (name, address, date of birth) to validate that Winner’s Edge account members are Ontario residents 18 years of age or older. Your personal information is stored securely. We will never sell your personal information to third parties. However, OLG may use the services of a third-party Program administrator, Splashdot Inc. (“Program Administrator”), to administer the Winner’s Edge account and associated Programs. Any personal information provided to or collected by the OLG or the Program Administrator, including but not limited to subscriber’s contact information, is collected under the authority of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999 and is intended to be used for the following principal purposes: to conduct and administer the Programs by OLG or through a third party Program Administrator, including, but not limited to deploying email newsletters, alerts, or promotional updates; assessing your eligibility for and providing exclusive contests, coupons, or access to Account holders; awarding of any Program prizes; marketing and advertising including providing you with valuable information and other lottery-related correspondence; understanding our customers’ interests, evaluating our offerings and improving the delivery and quality of the Program and other OLG services and offerings; responding to your concerns and providing technical support; for OLG’s internal business purposes including using aggregate data to conduct research regarding current and prospective offerings and services, in connection with any necessary subscriber conduct reviews; referring to such personal information in voice messages or other messages left for a Subscriber; and to comply with legal requirements. Winner’s Edge accounts may be accessed only by authorized users. Users who log in represent that they are authorized to do so. System usage may be monitored and logged for unauthorized use or abuse. Any attempt to tamper with any of the Programs, deliberately damage any website or undermine the administration, operation, or security of the website or the legitimate operation of the Programs, is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and OLG reserves the right to disqualify and/or seek damages and/or other relief from all persons responsible for such acts to the fullest extent permitted by law.
OLG and OLG’s Program Administrator assume no responsibility for: delays in processing subscriptions, emails lost, interrupted, stolen, delayed or misdirected, for any reason whatsoever; for the failure, interruption or delay of any email or other communication to be given or received, for any reason; for any incorrect or inaccurate capture or transmission of information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, visual or printing errors; garbled data or transmissions, omissions, interruption, deletion; any computer viruses, time bombs, logic bombs and any other implanted devices of a like or similar nature that may arise or occur in connection with the Programs or related Activities, or problems with the function of any website or website feature howsoever caused; the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof; any functionality lost due to not having cookies enabled; traffic congestion on the Internet; the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer "hackers"; or any combination thereof, as a result of participation in these Programs or related Activities. OLG is not responsible for subscribers’ inability to participate in the Programs or any related Activities.
OLG is not responsible for commencing, continuing, or completing the Programs or any related Activities in the event of circumstances beyond its control. OLG reserves the right to deny, discontinue, suspend, or interrupt any subscription sign-up or subscription mailings, and subscription membership may be revoked, discontinued, suspended, interrupted or cancelled at the discretion of OLG, without prior notice.
The Programs and use of the Winner’s Edge account are subject to the laws of the Province of Ontario and the Federal laws of Canada as applicable.
OLG reserves the right to cancel any or all of the Programs or modify these official terms in any way, in whole or in part, with or without notice and at such times and in such manner as OLG deems appropriate.
These terms supersede all previously existing Account and Program terms. These official Account terms govern this Account and associated Programs, and must be followed, and by agreeing to participate in any of the Programs, all subscribers agree to comply with, and be bound by these terms.

WINNER’S EDGE COUPON OFFER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Limit of one (1) coupon per customer per promotion. Valid only while quantities last.

OLG may, from time to time, offer coupon promotions to Winner’s Edge account holders (the “Offer”). Each Offer is governed by these terms and conditions (the “Offer Terms”), except where otherwise stated. In the event of any inconsistency between the Offer Terms and any related terms and conditions or promotional material or media, the Offer Terms shall govern to the extent of any such inconsistency.
The Offers are sponsored by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (“OLG” or the “Sponsor”) and managed on behalf of the Sponsor by Splashdot Inc. (the “Program Administrator”).
The Offers are available to individuals who, at the time of Offer redemption: (i) are residents of Ontario; (ii) are located in Ontario; (iii) are eighteen (18) years of age or older and (iv) have a valid Winner’s Edge account (“Eligible Individuals”). Eligible Individuals may redeem the Offer for a free Coupon (“Coupon”) by accessing their Winner’s Edge account. The eligibility and identity of any individual that participates or attempts to participate in the Offer is subject to the Sponsor’s or Program Administrator’s verification at any time and for any reason. Eligibility to win any prize associated with a lottery ticket purchased by coupon redemption is subject to OLG’s general rules including the Rules Respecting Lottery Games.
To redeem the Coupon for the applicable lottery ticket, an individual must do so within the Offer Period at an OLG-authorized lottery retailer. A Coupon cannot be redeemed in any manner at any time outside of the Offer Period. Government-issued photo identification may also be required upon the redemption of the Coupon.
If an OLG-authorized lottery retailer refuses or fails to redeem a Coupon, the individual may contact the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098 for assistance; the individual may be prompted to provide details such as the date and time of the occurrence and the name and location of the OLG-authorized lottery retailer. The Sponsor and the Program Administrator assume no responsibility for the failure or refusal of any OLG-authorized lottery retailer to redeem Coupons.
When redeeming a Coupon at an OLG-authorized lottery retailer via a mobile device, the individual may display the Coupon with the barcode(s) fully visible in the screen area and scan it with the customer-facing barcode scanner. The individual is not required to transfer possession of their mobile device to the retailer personnel.
An Eligible Individual is permitted to redeem only one (1) of each unique Offer. Each Eligible Individual is permitted to redeem only one (1) Coupon for each promotion. Once the rightful bearer of a Coupon redeems it for the applicable lottery ticket, the Coupon cannot be subsequently redeemed. If it is discovered by the Sponsor and/or the Program Administrator (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by the Sponsor and/or the Program Administrator) that any person has attempted to: (i) obtain more than one (1) Offer or Coupon; and/or (ii) use multiple names, identities, email addresses, any automated, macro, script, robotic or other systems or program(s); and/or (iii) any other means not in keeping with the Sponsor's and/or Program Administrator's interpretation of the letter and spirit of these Terms and Conditions, then such Offer, Coupon, and/or ticket relating to such Coupon or Offer will be found void. For certainty, any Coupons or tickets obtained in contravention of these Offer Terms as determined by Sponsor and/or Program Administrator shall not be eligible for any prize.
Any personal information provided to or collected by the OLG or the Program Administrator, including but not limited to the customer’s coupon claim form information, is collected pursuant to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999. Please review OLG’s privacy policy to learn more.
The Offer must be accepted as outlined in these Offer Terms. No substitutions, assignments, or transfers of the Offer is permitted, except at the Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. If an individual does not agree with the Offer Terms, they must not redeem the Offer.
The Offer Terms are subject to change in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor and/or Program Administrator without prior notice.
The Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, modify or withdraw this Offer at any time and for any reason without prior notice. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Sponsor and/or Program Administrator reserve the right to alter any of the time frames, offer dates, number of available Offers, value of the Offer, and any other element associated with this Offer.
The Sponsor may, in its sole and absolute discretion, extend this Offer for any reason it deems appropriate. This includes, but is not limited to, satisfying promotional integrity issues, technical errors or issues, and in the event the Sponsor has not distributed all eligible Coupons by the close of the Offer Period.
The Sponsor and/or Offer Manager reserves the right to disqualify any individual from the Offer who is believed to have tampered with the redemption process for the Offer or Coupon(s) or disrupted the proper functioning of the Offer in any manner or who violates the Offer Terms. Without limiting the foregoing, the Sponsor and/or Program Administrator may block access to the offer and coupon claim system to any individual who, in the Sponsor’s and/or the Program Administrator's sole judgment, has been disqualified from participating in the Offer, has questionable eligibility to participate in the Offer, or is otherwise ineligible to participate in the Offer.
Any individual who attempts to tamper, interfere with, or undermine the administration, security or legitimate operation of this Offer may be subject to civil and/or criminal penalties and fines. The Sponsor and Program Administrator reserve the right to seek damages, whether direct or consequential, from any such individual(s) to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The Sponsor and the Program Administrator assume no responsibility for: (i) Coupons lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected for any reason whatsoever; (ii) for the failure, interruption or delay of any mail or email or other communication to be received, for any reason whatsoever; (iii) any computer viruses, time bombs, logic bombs and any other implanted devices of a like or similar nature that may arise or occur in connection with the Offer; (iv) problems with the function of any website or application or website or application feature howsoever caused; (v) the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers; (vi) any functionality lost due to not having cookies enabled; traffic congestion on the Internet; (vii) the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; (viii) for breaches of privacy due to interference by third-party computer “hackers”; or (ix) any combination thereof, as a result of participation in this Offer.
In the event of circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsor or the Program Administrator, neither such party shall assume any responsibility for commencing, continuing, or completing any Offer and neither party shall be obligated to provide a benefit of equal or similar value to the Offer to any individual.
All Coupons that have been obtained or made through fraudulent means or which are altered, reproduced or irregular (all as determined by OLG and the Program Administrator) are void.
With respect to all Offers, all decisions of the Program Administrator and Sponsor are final and binding with no right of appeal.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provisions of any term within the Offer Terms shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the Offer Terms shall remain in effect and shall be interpreted as if the valid or illegal provision were not contained herein unless the Sponsor determines otherwise.
By participating in each Offer, each individual hereby confirms compliance with the Offer Terms and releases the Sponsor and the Program Administrator from any and all liability in connection with the Offer and their participation therein. The Sponsor and the Program Administrator will not be responsible, wholly or in part, for, and accept no liability whatsoever in relation to, any delay, cancellation or other factor(s) that in any way impact the Offers, or any loss, damage or injury, whether direct or indirect, howsoever caused, in connection with the Offers.
